Born on October 27, 1918 in Saginaw, Michigan, Ed Albosta (Edward John Albosta) played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 2 year career. Albosta broke into the bigs on September 3, 1941 with the Brooklyn Dodgers.
