Earl Gant (Earl Leon Gant) was born on July 6, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Manual (Peoria, IL), Gant attended the University of Missouri. Gant made his professional debut in the NFL in 1979 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1979 was Earl Gant's best year.
