Dudley Meredith (Cecil Dudley Meredith) was born on January 16, 1935 in Smkthwick, Texas. After going to high school at Burnet (TX), Meredith attended Del Mar JC, Lamar University, Midwestern State University and the University of Florida. Meredith made his professional debut in the AFL in 1963 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the Buffalo Bills and Houston Oilers over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1967 was Dudley Meredith's best year.
