Doug Goodwin (Douglas McArthur Goodwin) was born on March 11, 1942 in Charleston, South Carolina. After going to high school at Burke (Charleston, SC), Goodwin attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Goodwin made his professional debut in the AFL in 1966 with the Buffalo Bills. He played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Buffalo Bills the entire time. Goodwin also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Atlanta Falcons the entire time.
