Born on March 1, 1969 in Winchester, Virginia, Doug Creek (Paul Douglas Creek) played for the St. Louis Cardinals, San Francisco Giants, Chicago Cubs, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Seattle Mariners, Toronto Blue Jays and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 9 year career. Creek broke into the bigs on September 17, 1995 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 4.60 ERA in 60.2 innings pitched in 2000, his rookie year.
