Doug Barnett (Douglas Shirl Barnet, Jr.) was born on April 12, 1960 in Montebello, California. After going to high school at Edgewood (West Covina, CA), Barnett attended Azusa Pacific University. Barnett made his professional debut in the NFL in 1982 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams, Atlanta Falcons and Washington Redskins over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1983 was Doug Barnett's best year.
