Donell Nixon (Robert Donell Nixon) was born on December 31, 1961 in Evergreen, North Carolina. He made his Major League debut on April 7, 1987 for the Seattle Mariners. In 1987, his rookie year, he hit .250 with 3 home runs and 12 RBI. Nixon played for the Seattle Mariners, San Francisco Giants and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 4 year career.
