Don Wells (Donald Ray Wells) was born on July 12, 1922 in Waycross, Georgia. Wells attended the University of Georgia, the University of North Carolina and Wake Forest University. Wells made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 4 year career.
