Don Richmond (Donald Lester Richmond) was born on October 27, 1919 in Gillett, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on September 16, 1941 for the Philadelphia Athletics. Richmond played for the Philadelphia Athletics and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 4 year career.
