Don Money (Donald Wayne Money) was born on June 7, 1947 in Washington, D.C.. He made his Major League debut on April 10, 1968 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1969, his rookie year, he hit .229 with 6 home runs and 42 RBI. Money played for the Philadelphia Phillies and Milwaukee Brewers over the course of his 16 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Don Money's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1977, when he slugged 25 home runs, hit for a .279 average and knocked in 83 runs. However, others believe that it was 1974, when he slugged 15 home runs, hit for a .283 average and knocked in 65 runs.
