Born on September 24, 1949 in Pontiac, Michigan, Don Kirkwood (Donald Paul Kirkwood) played for the California Angels, Chicago White Sox and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 5 year career. Kirkwood broke into the bigs on September 13, 1974 with the California Angels, and put up a 3.11 ERA in 84 innings pitched in 1975, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Don Kirkwood's best season was 1975, when he posted a 3.11 ERA.
