Don Dillard (David Donald Dillard) was born on January 8, 1937 in Greenville, South Carolina. He made his Major League debut on April 24, 1959 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1961, his rookie year, he hit .272 with 7 home runs and 17 RBI. Dillard played for the Cleveland Indians and Milwaukee Braves over the course of his 5 year career.
