Don Deeks (Donald Philip Deeks) was born on February 10, 1923 in Portland, Oregon. Deeks attended the University of Washington. Deeks made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Boston Yanks. He played for the Boston Yanks, Green Bay Packers and Washington Redskins over the course of his 4 year career.
