Dom Dallessandro (Nicholas Dominic Dallessandro) was born on October 3, 1913 in Reading, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on April 24, 1937 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1937, his rookie year, he hit .231 with 0 home runs and 11 RBI. Dallessandro played for the Boston Red Sox and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that Dom Dallessandro's best season was 1941, when he knocked in 85 runs.
