Dioner Navarro (Dioner Favian (Vivas) Navarro) was born on February 9, 1984 in Caracas, Distrito Federal (Venezuela). He made his Major League debut on September 7, 2004 for the New York Yankees. In 2005, his rookie year, he hit .273 with 3 home runs and 14 RBI. Navarro played for the New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers and Tampa Bay Devil Rays (renamed the Tampa Bay Rays in 2008) over the course of his 4 year career.
