Dick Steere (Richard Edward Steere) was born on March 2, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Harvey (IL), Steere attended Drake University. Steere made his professional debut in the NFL in 1951 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 1 year career.
