Dick Nesbitt (Richard Jackson Nesbitt) was born on November 12, 1907 in Des Moines, Iowa. After going to high school at Kemper Military Academy (Boonville, MO) and Roosevelt (Des Moines, IA), Nesbitt attended Drake University. Nesbitt made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1932 was Dick Nesbitt's best year.
