Dick Lucas (Richard Albert Lucas) was born on January 9, 1934 in Boston, Massachusetts. After going to high school at South Boston (MA), Lucas attended Boston College. Lucas made his professional debut in the NFL in 1958 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1961 was Dick Lucas's best year, as he caught 5 TD passes.
