Dick King (Richard Stewart Cutter King) was born on February 9, 1895 in Boston, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Latin (Boston, MA), King attended Harvard University. King made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Hammond Pros. He played in the APFA for 1 year, playing for the Hammond Pros the entire time. King also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the St. Louis All-Stars and Rochester Jeffersons over the course of his 2 year NFL career.
