Dick Folk (Richard A. Folk) was born on July 27, 1916 in Polo, Illinois. Folk attended Arkansas State University and Illinois Wesleyan University. Folk made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
