Born on November 25, 1889 in Frankfort, Kentucky, Dick Crutcher (Richard Luther Crutcher) played for the Boston Braves for his entire 2 year career. Crutcher broke into the bigs on April 14, 1914 with the Boston Braves, and put up a 3.46 ERA in 158.2 innings pitched in 1914, his rookie year.
