Dick Cox (Elmer Joseph Cox) was born on September 30, 1895 in Pasadena, California. He made his Major League debut on April 16, 1925 for the Brooklyn Robins. In 1925, his rookie year, he hit .329 with 7 home runs and 64 RBI. Cox played for the Brooklyn Robins for his entire 2 year career.
