[edit] Biography

Born on February 17, 1944 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Dick Bosman (Richard Allen Bosman) played for the Washington Senators, Texas Rangers, Cleveland Indians and Oakland Athletics over the course of his 11 year career. Bosman broke into the bigs on June 1, 1966 with the Washington Senators, and put up a 1.75 ERA in 51.1 innings pitched in 1967, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Dick Bosman's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1970, when he posted a 3.00 ERA, won 16 games and struck out 134 batters. However, others believe that it was 1969, when he posted a 2.19 ERA, won 14 games and struck out 99 batters.
