Dick Absher (Richard Alfred Absher, Jr.) was born on April 19, 1944 in Washington, District Of Columbia. After going to high school at Bollis Prep (Silver Spring, MD), Absher attended the University of Maryland. Absher made his professional debut in the NFL in 1967 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles, Atlanta Falcons and Washington Redskins over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1971 was Dick Absher's best year.
