Devon White (Devon Markes White) was born on December 29, 1962 in Kingston, Jamaica. He made his Major League debut on September 2, 1985 for the California Angels. In 1987, his rookie year, he hit .263 with 24 home runs and 87 RBI. White played for the California Angels, Toronto Blue Jays, Florida Marlins, Arizona Diamondbacks, Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers over the course of his 17 year career.

Most people believe that Devon White's best season was 1987, when he slugged 24 home runs, stole 32 bases and knocked in 87 runs.
