Derrick Blaylock (Derrick DeShaun Blaylock) was born on August 23, 1979 in Atlanta, Texas. After going to high school at Atlanta (TX), Blaylock attended Stephen F. Austin State University. Blaylock made his professional debut in the NFL in 2002 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He has played for the Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 2004 was Derrick Blaylock's best year, as he ran for 539 yards and ran in 8 TDs.
