Denny Wirgowski (Dennis Wirgowski) was born on September 20, 1947 in Bay City, Michigan. After going to high school at Bay City (MI), Wirgowski attended Purdue University. Wirgowski made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the Boston Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles and Boston Patriots over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1973 was Denny Wirgowski's best year.
