Del Bissonette (Delphia Louis Bissonette) was born on September 6, 1899 in Winthrop, Maine. He made his Major League debut on April 11, 1928 for the Brooklyn Robins. In 1928, his rookie year, he hit .320 with 25 home runs and 106 RBI. Bissonette played for the Brooklyn Robins and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that Del Bissonette's best season was 1928, when he slugged 25 home runs, hit for a .320 average and knocked in 106 runs.
