Death Halladay (Robert Thayer Halladay) was born on October 29, 1900 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Hyde Park (Chicago, IL), Halladay attended Unversity of Chicago. Halladay made his professional debut in the NFL in 1923 with the Racine Legion. He played for the Racine Legion for his entire 2 year career.
