Born on September 3, 1951 in Princeton, Indiana, Dave Campbell (David Alan Campbell) played for the Atlanta Braves for his entire 2 year career. Campbell broke into the bigs on May 6, 1977 with the Atlanta Braves, and put up a 3.05 ERA in 88.2 innings pitched in 1977, his rookie year.
