Dave Widell (David Harold Widell) was born on May 14, 1965 in Hartford, Connecticut. After going to high school at South Catholic (Hartford, CT), Widell attended Boston College. Widell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1988 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Denver Broncos, Jacksonville Jaguars, Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Falcons over the course of his 11 year career.
