Dave Magadan (David Joseph Magadan) was born on September 30, 1962 in Tampa, Florida. He made his Major League debut on September 7, 1986 for the New York Mets. In 1987, his rookie year, he hit .318 with 3 home runs and 24 RBI. Magadan played for the New York Mets, Seattle Mariners, Florida Marlins, Houston Astros, Chicago Cubs, Oakland Athletics and San Diego Padres over the course of his 16 year career.

Most people believe that Dave Magadan's best season was 1990, when he hit for a .328 average and knocked in 72 runs.
