Dave Altizer (David Tilden Altizer) was born on November 6, 1876 in Pearl, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on May 29, 1906 for the Washington Senators. In 1906, his rookie year, he hit .256 with 1 home run and 27 RBI. Altizer played for the Washington Senators, Cleveland Naps, Chicago White Sox and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that Dave Altizer's best season was 1907, when he stole 38 bases.
