Born on December 2, 1968 in Garden Grove, California, Darryl Kile (Darryl Andrew Kile) played for the Houston Astros, Colorado Rockies and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 12 year career. Kile broke into the bigs on April 8, 1991 with the Houston Astros, and put up a 3.69 ERA in 153.2 innings pitched in 1991, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Darryl Kile's best season was 1997, when he posted a 2.57 ERA, won 19 games and struck out 205 batters.
