Darren Flutie (Darren Paul Flutie) was born on November 18, 1966 in Manchester, Maryland. After going to high school at Natick (MA), Flutie attended Boston College. Flutie made his professional debut in the NFL in 1988 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers for his entire NFL 1 year career.
His CFL career lasted from 1991 until 2002.He is the Canadian Football League's second all-time leader in catches.In November, 2006, Darren Flutie joined his brother, Doug Flutie, on the list of the CFL's Top 50 players of the league's modern era by Canadian sports network TSN.
