Danny Taylor (Daniel Turney Taylor) was born on December 23, 1900 in Lash, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on June 30, 1926 for the Washington Senators. In 1930, his rookie year, he hit .283 with 2 home runs and 37 RBI. Taylor played for the Washington Senators, Chicago Cubs and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Danny Taylor's best season was 1932, when he hit for a .319 average and knocked in 51 runs.
