Born on August 7, 1973 in Saigon, South Vietnam, Danny Graves (Daniel Peter Graves) played for the Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Reds and New York Mets over the course of his 11 year career. Graves broke into the bigs on July 13, 1996 with the Cleveland Indians, and put up a 3.32 ERA in 81.1 innings pitched in 1998, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Danny Graves's most productive season. Some believe that it was 2000, when he posted a 2.56 ERA, won 10 games, notched 30 saves and struck out 53 batters. However, others believe that it was 2002, when he posted a 3.19 ERA, notched 32 saves and struck out 58 batters.
