[edit] Biography

Born on November 17, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois, Dan Osinski (Daniel Osinski) played for the Los Angeles Angels, Kansas City Athletics, Milwaukee Braves, Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox and Houston Astros over the course of his 8 year career. Osinski broke into the bigs on April 11, 1962 with the Los Angeles Angels, and put up a 3.97 ERA in 59 innings pitched in 1962, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Dan Osinski's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1963, when he posted a 3.28 ERA and struck out 100 batters. However, others believe that it was 1964, when he posted a 3.48 ERA and struck out 88 batters.
