Dan Lally (Daniel J. Lally) was born on August 12, 1867 in Jersey City, New Jersey. He made his Major League debut on August 19, 1891 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1891, his rookie year, he hit .224 with 1 home run and 17 RBI. Lally played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Perfectos over the course of his 2 year career.
