Creepy Crespi (Frank Angelo Joseph Crespi) was born on February 16, 1918 in St. Louis, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on September 14, 1938 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1941, his rookie year, he hit .279 with 4 home runs and 46 RBI. Crespi played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 5 year career.

Most people believe that Creepy Crespi's best season was 1941, when he hit for a .279 average.
