Costen Shockley (John Costen Shockley) was born on February 8, 1942 in Georgetown, Delaware. He made his Major League debut on July 17, 1964 for the Philadelphia Phillies. Shockley played for the Philadelphia Phillies and California Angels over the course of his 2 year career.
