Corwin Clatt (Corwin Samuel Clatt) was born on February 5, 1924 in West Des Moines, Iowa. After going to high school at East Peoria (IL), Clatt attended the University of Notre Dame. Clatt made his professional debut in the NFL in 1948 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1949 was Corwin Clatt's best year, as he recovered 3 opponents fumbles.
