Cornelius Bennett (Cornelius O'landa Bennett) was born on August 25, 1965 in Birmingham, Alabama. After going to high school at Ensley (Birmingham, AL), Bennett attended the University of Alabama. Bennett made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills, Atlanta Falcons and Indianapolis Colts over the course of his 14 year career.
Most people believe that 1988 was Cornelius Bennett's best year, as he recorded 9.5 sacks and recovered 3 opponents fumbles.
