Cody Ross (Cody Joseph Ross) was born on December 23, 1980 in Portales, New Mexico. He made his Major League debut on July 4, 2003 for the Detroit Tigers. In 2006, his rookie year, he hit .227 with 13 home runs and 46 RBI. Ross played for the Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Florida Marlins and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 4 year career.
