Clyde Sukeforth (Clyde Leroy Sukeforth) was born on November 30, 1901 in Washington, Maine. He made his Major League debut on May 23, 1926 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1929, his rookie year, he hit .354 with 1 home run and 33 RBI. Sukeforth played for the Cincinnati Reds and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 9 year career.
Most people believe that Clyde Sukeforth's best season was 1929, when he hit for a .354 average.
