Cliff Taylor (Clifton Durett Taylor) was born on May 10, 1952 in Memphis, Tennessee. After going to high school at South Side (Memphis, TN), Taylor attended the University of Memphis. Taylor made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1974 was Cliff Taylor's best year, as he had 567 kick return yards.
