Cleveland Browns Already Suffer First Loss

LeCharles Bentley, the Cleveland Browns' biggest free-agent signing this winter, injured his left knee during the Browns' first 11-on-11 drill of training camp on Thursday.
According to sources the injury to the Pro Bowl center was a potentially season-ending one to his patellar tendon. MRI results to determine whether it is a partial or total tear are not yet in.
Bentley reportedly got tangled up in a pile of players while blocking for running back Reuben Droughns.
Browns' Coach Romeo Crennel had his players only in shoulder pads for the two-hour morning workout, hoping that staying out of full pads on Day 2 of camp would help them avoid injuries.
It's no secret that the Browns have had a string of key players with serious injuries the past few seasons.
Bentley, a two-time Pro Bowler who was regarded as one of the offseason's premier unrestricted free agents, signed a six-year, $36 million deal in March that included $12.5 million in guaranteed money.
