Cleo Montgomery (Cleotha Montgomery) was born on July 1, 1956 in Greenville, Mississippi. After going to high school at Greenville (MS), Montgomery attended Abilene Christian University. Montgomery made his professional debut in the NFL in 1980 with the Cincinnati Bengals. He played for the Los Angeles Raiders, Oakland Raiders and Cincinnati Bengals over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1980 was Cleo Montgomery's best year, as he had 843 kick return yards.
