Chuck Quilter (Charles Rew Quilter) was born on May 8, 1926 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Quilter attended Tyler Junior College. Quilter made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1949 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played in the AAFC for 1 year, playing for the San Francisco 49ers the entire time.
