Chuck Cottier (Charles Keith Cottier) was born on January 18, 1936 in Delta, Colorado. He made his Major League debut on April 17, 1959 for the Milwaukee Braves. In 1960, his rookie year, he hit .227 with 3 home runs and 19 RBI. Cottier played for the Milwaukee Braves, Washington Senators, Detroit Tigers and California Angels over the course of his 8 year career.
